Call for unpublished data for a meta-analysis on the role of emotions in collective action
We are currently conducting a meta-analysis on the role of emotions in collective action participation in democratic vs. authoritarian political regimes. We have already identified a number of published studies on this topic and we are now looking for unpublished quantitative data.
If your study used a measure that pertained to any type of emotions (exemplary items: anger, fear, disgust, sadness, hope, happy, contempt, admiration), and collective action (exemplary items: I would be willing to participate/participated in protests on social media, protests on the streets), we would be very grateful if you could share some information about your unpublished or soon to be published data (including manuscripts and theses/dissertations) with us.
If you have more than one emotion (e.g., anger and hope) OR one type of collective action (e.g., violent and non-violent collective action) in your study(ies), please mention each separate emotion OR separate collective action in the survey (and their relationships). The deadline to submit information about your study is August 1, 2022.
Thank you for your time and for considering our request. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions (omu20@sussex.ac.uk).
