Invitation to participate:
You are invited to participate in an interview as part of a project aiming to assess the impact of the Think Equal programme in Greater Manchester(GM), run by a research team at the University of Sussex. The research team will use the information collected in the interview to better understand of how the Think Equal programme is being used in Reception classrooms and what barriers there might be for those teachers who are findings it difficult to use the programme as designed.
How do I participate?:
If you consent to participating, and you meet the eligibility criteria, the researcher will email you with instructions for how to book an interview slot using Calendly. You will be able to select a time that works for your schedule. The interview will take place using Microsoft teams or zoom, and involve a series of questions in relation to how Think Equal has been used in your classroom. The researcher will ask questions and there will be time for you to answer. It is anticipated that the entire interview will take around 45 minutes, and will last no longer than an hour. The researcher will then transcribe the interview recording (making sure to remove any information that is potentially identifying e.g., school name etc.), and analyse all interview responses for themes.
Your results and personal information:
The results of this interview may also be submitted for publication in a scientific journal. You can obtain a copy of any published articles resulting from the work by requesting them from the lead investigator. Your anonymity will be ensured in the way described in the consent information below.
